Edit again : it error'd =s

Edit : its moving now , i left it for about 2 hours being stuck at 57% and now its 64%.

okay so the thing worked fine and started transfering nicely, but then it got stuck at probably 57% and the other PS3 got an Error , then it asked me to format my recieving PS3 so i did, is there something wrong i am doing? or do i have to try again ? because i don't want to wait another 4 hours just to get the same error.

my ethernet works fine and my PS3 is new so none is broken.

Cant post from wrk comp in thread. You must have some corrupted data on your ps3. Swith it off, hold the switch button and let it restart again. This is supposed to fix the corrupted data. Check on youtube. Also the estimated time you get isnt right. I had 4h and ended up with 6h ( I left the consloles on for the night)

i tried deleting corrupted files when i did the Database thing and now i am doing it again, its stuck at 57% again.

Feel sorry for you - that really sucks. Somehow I didnt have this problem. Did you google it?

How long did u leave it set at 57? When I did mine, it got stuck for a while but i let it be and it eventually continued.

its actually moving now , just 15 minutes ago, i think , its been like that for 2 and a half hours =s  , i hope it doesn't error again or get stuck.

That first error code is something to do with corrupt files. Look through save data, music, themes, etc for any corrupt data and delete it.

the first try i did have a corrupted file, now i deleted it, but on the second try i don't have one yet it still errors, do i have to delete everything ? =s
