Devils Cry No More

A new post about the Ninja Theory-developed DmC on the PlayStation blog tells us two important things:

 

1. The game does indeed take place within the current Devil May Cry timeline and it is most certainly a prequel to the originals.

 

2. This is what neo-Dante looks like, should you put old Dante’s hair on him:

 

Just something to consider — this is a guy that could very well grow into the Dante we’re already familiar with.

I think they shopped in more than just the hair, it looks like the whole "right" side of his face is replaced

Anyways, after the initial shock from this new design is gone, i guess i could give him a chance, and i doubt the gameplay will suffer due to the crazy new design anyways so it's up to the gameplay now to impress

I think my main problem with the character design is that his clothing, his shirt, reveals to much of his neck and chest. I find that clothing types to look feminine or some shit, it just doesn't convince me.



Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

EXACTLY! This is exactly what I found most annoying...it looks like he is size small but wearing XXL or something

Gameplay will ultimately break or make this game for me

i don't care about how he looks, i am not a fangirl, sad about my future boyfriend suddenly changed his hairdo or anything ,i'll wait for gameplay, i like Ninja Theory they make good games.

It makes no sense if it is a prequel, Dante was like 17-18 years old in DMC 3, so in dmc prequel then he is 15? Also I thought the anime series was canon and in it we can see that Dante had white hair even as a child (and never smokes)
