Forums - Gaming - Are You a . . . Quitter?

I quit sometimes on BFBC2 when I'm defending on Rush and the attackers decide to load up the UAV with a bunch of C4, go next to our M-com Station and blow them up from across the battlefield.

That really irritates me.

Around the Network

Quitting a video game and not having a game board plus pieces is no fun at all. Throwing a game controller at a wall is not as fun as knocking a game board over and the pieces flying. Oh crap throwing a controller at the wall would break it during the heat of the moment. A costly exercise. Throwing a game board over to avoid losing a game = priceless.

Getting hammered in a game, you can put the controller down and wait for the game to finish. Quitting is the height of bad sportsmanship. You may as well just give up and just see the game out. Place the controller down during an online match and leave the room. It is only a game. Better luck next time.

You can actually learn more through failure and defeat than winning. Winning all the time is not fun at all. Hey it is good to let your friend or family win but do not let on you let them beat you.

You can quit a game anonymously with no repercussions. If you quit a game on a friend or family member it may result in a conflict. By quitting and acting like a bad sport they may never play against you again. As a child you are losing a game of monopoly or chess or another board game, you knock the game board over and you call the other person a cheat.

This, my brother quits in soul calibur when i beat the shit out of him and then has the nerve to talk shit! I don't play anything with him anymore.

No where near as fun as throwing a monopoly or chess board and making the pieces fly all over the floor.
