Maybe they're just jealous that Apple established themselves without even having the courtesy of taking multi-billion dollar losses.
Anyway given that Apple devices are media players come game devices and Sony PSP is as much a media device as a game device it isn't hard to see how the popularity of the former could negatively effect Sony.
