Alright so I've downloaded Bioshock 2 from steam and I has the stupid usual game for windows lives update message. Well with bioshock 2 it doesn't want to download so you need to manually patch it. I downloaded patch 1.0.0.3 and tried to manually patch it but whenever i play the game It still says it's version 1, and it gives me an infinite loop updating, saying it's installing, then doing the restart......then it starts to download and install again because for some reason it didn't update up to 1.03. It will continue this cycle over and over....
I've tried steam forums, I've tried googling, and usually i can figure the problem out myself by looking at the directory but I'm stumped. Does anyone have any ideas or had the problem before and know the solution.
