i REALLY dont get it... Sega has the engine made for both psp and ps3, and the ps3 game sold 4x  the ammount than vc2.... so.. why not make the game for the ps3??? GOD give sega a little tiny bit of brain please.

because it still costs  much more to make it on ps3. It's a bigger risk. Especially depending on the actual sales data of VC1 and VC2. As well as I believe VC1 sales sold more at discount price than at full.

It's not not # of copies sold. It's Profit. Now Sega could be stupid. But there's no way of knowing without looking at their books. Also, there's no way to guarantee that the people that bought VC1 would buy VC3 as well.

All I'm saying is sega could be stupid or they could be being intelligent. they're the only ones with the real numbers.

So Valkyria Chronicles sold almost a million copies yet Sega refuses to release more games of this franchise on PS3, there is something fishy here unless ...

it is just that a PS3 game COST way more than a PSP game AND is also WAY longer to developpe ...

it is a business decision (like always)
