IGN sometime have very bad and/or biase reviewer. A good reviewer should be able to differentiate not liking a game to a bad game. Read what the IGN reviewer had to say about the control and then what others said, its funny.
From IGN (35%): "...players have to deal with the subpar motion controls. Whether it's the way the onscreen cursor becomes constantly misaligned and has to be calibrated or how the camera controls are limited to the point of never solving the game's depth perception issues..."
From Joystiq (90%): "...there's the Move technology itself, which allows for 3D control of the blocks. It's so accurate and responsive that I had a little trouble using a 2D form of input – my MacBook's trackpad – immediately after playing."
From GameTrailers (83%): "Here, the Move controller allows you pick up and rotate your various construction materials, all with their own weight and texture, with a true one-to-one response."
From gameinformer (80%): "With the game’s ability to accurately translate your motions with the Move controller, the apprehension of knocking over your carefully built tower with one ill-timed hand twitch is certainly present."
From Eurogamer (80%): "The simple act of manipulating these objects with the Move controller in 3D space with pinpoint precision is thrillingly new and different: reaching forwards to grab a block, pulling it back towards you and rotating your wrist to set it down at the right angle is as accurate and intuitive as you could possibly wish for."
From 1UP (67%): "The Move controller's motion sensing manages to impress in its precision when you're finely maneuvering those delicate block placements."
From VideoGamer (60%):"Pick up an awkwardly-shaped block, then flick your wrist to turn it about and fit it into a nook of your tower with immense precision."
Obviously, the guy at IGN either have a defectuous Move unit or have some common sense problem.
