If you read my post (and other peoples on the thread) AND his own wishlist you'll see that this just isn't the case.


haha come on dude in a thread titled something like "should I buy Console A or console B" who actually reads the OP? People just come in and vote for their favourite console and give reasons why. Lets be honest here.

I had this same issue a while ago. I went with Wii because library wise the PS3 and 360 are so similiar you might as well get the Wii for varities' sake. Plus I refuse to pay for Live and I was scared of RROD

@Dioxinus  meh im satisfied. I guess im happy. I didnt have to send it in 3-4 times to get fixed. IMHO  I dont think WII is as cool as Gamecube was but that could be because my expectations were low for GC and my expectations for Wii was a little high. While there isnt a game released on Wii yet that forced me to put down my PS3 controller (SC2 for GC put my PS2 controller on ice for awhile) there are some gems that simply are only available for Wii. Tvs.C Muramasa, the Ninty titles etc. The Wii was my secondary console, until Metal Gear PW and Kingdom Hearts BBS came out but I dont regret my purchase and I would do it over again.

Yeah, I did exagerate my original statement. :P

My reasoning was the same, i.e. for the best options that are not already available on PS3/PC, but my initial statement was a big exageration.

is wii motion plus something i should get? im thinking about the sports resort bundle since it already has motion plus ... is it worth it? does it work? do i need it?

 

also i guess of note is my girlfriend who i wouldnt mind getting to play games with so thats another reason for the wii i got her to play a bit of ps3 with me but i can tell shes not very hardcore and i think the wii games would appeal a bit more (mario in particular)
