Forums - General - An interesting take on Lady Gaga from a feminist

I just watched the video for Not Myself Tonight.

It is so painfully obvious that is an homage to Madonna that anyone who says otherwise doesn't know much about music. The costumes are modeled after various stages of Madonna's career (bleach blonde 40s hair at one point, coned bras in another, LOTS of black latex/vinyl) and the dance moves (violently jerking arms left and right, crotch grabbing, humping the floor) are all classic Madonna moves. Everything about that video absolutely SCREAMS Madonna, NOT Lady GaGa.

Around the Network

I like Joss Stone, a great voice and wears tasty short dresses

Not real flashy lets her awesome voice do the talking

Lady Gaga is Madonna 2.0

Considering her lack of sexyness I'd call her Madonna 0.5
