Its obvious when you look at them that they are just out to get some cheap hits to their sites.  Where everyone wants to see just why they would rate ODST higher than Reach.  ODST was an overpriced addon morons.....

This is exactly why Metacritic is a fucking joke anymore.  Same goes when they review other games that they do this stuff too.  It really does just give game sites an incentive to give oddball reviews so they can collect a few more bucks on advertising. 

Metacritic is a great idea if it were to work without bias or these type people wanting to make a buck.  Too bad it doesn't work out in the real world.

Unfortunely this is the real world of Reviews... i know its biased but what can we do ?? Look at Mass Effect 2 got 75 and 7 Scores... how the hell is that possible ?? Why Heavy Rain got 4s ?? And Alan Wake 6s... This is a mess... I dont give a crap about meta anymore... They have Kz2 at 91 camon serious ??? and than u see Heavy Rain at 87 a must better game than Kz2 ... its a joke.

@ OP I dissagree. The more conservative (and by conservative I mean they do not traditionally deviate far from the metacritic average) review sites have given generous scores. IGN UK - 100, IGN - 95, Gametrailers - 93, Gameinformer - 95, 1Up - 100.

I still expect a final score in the low 90s.

LOL...the game isn't bad at all.. Its one of the best FPS games this gen...you don't win GameSpot's shooter of the year award if the game is bad.

And on what basis does a guy who is named "Reach" say that KZ2 is bad ? Have you even played it ? Have you played Reach for that matter ?

And calm down. Even if a site gives Halo Reach a 6, why the hell should you care ? Does it hurt your enjoyment of the game ?

I'm sure Reach is awesome....no doubt about it. There is no need to complain that its meta critic score isn't 98. Anything over 80 on metacritic is a pretty awesome game. No doubt about it.

It does seem that way.  Like those rating Reach lower than ODST obviously are much more biased now than they were and the ones rating reach above Halo 3 and ODST are likely much less biased.

After reading through some of the actual reviews all of them state how much better of a game in every way (story, gameplay, features) Reach seems to be.

The Average is your friend especially with a game that can garner 80 reviews so I expect it to sit at 93 at the end of the day. I have not played Reach but I played Halo 3 then quickly followed it up with ODST and I enjoyed ODST more.

It is difficult to see how they have scored it significantly down from Halo 3 and ODST but this shite happens with every game and we expect a couple of 70s from somebody or other.

OP, you need to change your sig. Reach isn't god's gift to gamers. Its gods gift to Halo fans. You put things in very odd proportions.
