I am extremely underwhelmed by it so far....playing it on PC and I'm gonna have to search for Cpt. Keyes in some swamp because Cortana freaked out.

So far, the gameplay has been repetitive and underwhelming. Master-chief has been "Meh". I hate the annoying dwarf enemies that run around like retards.

The story is the strongest part about it so far. 

But the point is, I don't see why Halo (Edit: This Halo game specifically...the others might be better, but people consider this the best Halo SP, right ?) is worshipped as the 2nd coming of Jesus by some people....has the game not aged very well ?

Edit : Just in case some peeps get offended...this is 10000000000% my opinion and not fact. I'd like to add that I don't like FPS that much either.

Halo on PC? Yep, it's a pretty average game. But on Xbox and with controller...  I must say it's pretty cool. Especially multiplayer!

Maybe because you're like 9 years late. How many 9 year old games are still fun today? Not that many.

I'm playing with my PS3 controller fixed to the PC.. so....

There are lots of old games that are still fun. Lots of Halo fans still think this one has the best campaign mode.

Relax dude... I haven't even finished the game yet...I'm just saying it has been not so amazing so far...Maybe I expected too much then....considering it has "countless awards".

And you deserve to be banned for saying "Combat" instead of "Kombat".

I'd take it as it hasn't aged very well...

I gave Halo credit for being basically the FPS of its time. But overall the game isn't that good. However the online was fun for its time as well.

So is it safe to say Halo is not right for me ? 

No it doesn't. It's like horrible. The story sucked.

Halo 3 redeemed the series for me.

Because it is nothing special. The reason people like it so much is because MS hyped it to hell and back, it was the only thing on the xbox with any mainstream appeal that was decent, and because a lot of them had never played an fps before. Certainly not a PC one. 

It does. In fact, it's the only good game in the series (so far).
