I was wondering how on earth I wasn't in that list, as well as mendicate and jagged.....we are easily some  of the biggest halo players in this forum.

OT:  That would be cool guys, also I'm in the process of creating a thread for the Official VGchartz Halo Reach montage film which i should be posting tomorrow or the next day so be sure to get in on that.  I want to be able to get enough clips of HIGH QUALITY kills to total at about 10 minutes.  So be sure to be saving the film clips of your top plays!

Also I just got in my shipment of Halo Reach at my Gamestop I work.  Will be posting pics and a thread tonight when I get off work!!!


Send a word in down here to let "The Clown" pick up Halo Reach early lol. And I have 3 computers or more on at once so I might just go with the 20$ 6 up 1 down deal.

No, I'm stuck with AT&T. I had comcast before and it constantly dropped connection. I think I can haggle the guy into the contract like I did before with my old internet.

@ Ben, I've been reading online that people are getting their retail copies early and I've seen a couple of people on my son's friends list playing Reach. So I called my local Gamestop just to take a shot in the dark....denied. The kid said they are too corporate for that, I figured as much. Then I remembered that I know the manager of the local FYE so I gave him a call but he acted a little suspect about hooking me up so I didn't press him on it. I don't mind waiting like everyone else but knowing that there are people playing already is messing with me a little. Anyone try to get you to hook them up yet?

 Also the kid at Gamestop asked me if I'm paid in full already, which I am for Legendary, and he told me to get there at 10 to get squared away so that come midnight, I can get in the special line for a quicker transaction. He expects a massive amount of people will be there. Looks like I'll be bringing a backpack with snacks for the kids, Ipods and DSIs to keep them busy. I wonder how many people are going to ask me why I have my 8 and 9 yr. olds out in the middle of the night.


oh yeah LOTS of people looking for hook ups, and some retailers are def giving out some copies early but if we got caught doing that at Gamestop then we would be fired INSTANTLY.

And yeah def show up early and get your pre-pay in full done.  I know we are expecting a minimum of 500 people at my stores launch, but we are a big store.

Yeah its always a good idea to lock your wireless internet cause your responsible for everything that goes on through your IP

Usually I don't see him on, I don't think he tries to start trouble though on XBL. Right now I have my 3 laptops and a neighbor's hooked up to my DSL Lite but It seems to be working the same slow as usuall :/

Mendicate Bias on 10 September 2010

Well I want to do a run through of campaign by myself first, I've managed to keep myself dark on any spoilers and I just want to sit back and enjoy the story.

But afterwards I'd be more than happy to fire up some co-op or firefight and go achievement hunting. I still have to get the firefight vidmaster achievement for ODST to tell the truth, every time I try to complete that achievement something comes up like people lagging out. Oh and i also need that achievement where you have to get through a level on legendary solo without shooting or throwing a grenade. I've actually done it twice but for some reason the achievement doesn't unlock which is ridiculously frustrating.

Dammit there's just too much to do between classes and Reach, my life needs a pause button.

I'd be willing to join more so for firefight than the multiplayer. I had absolutely nobody to play firefight with on ODST last time, and it was quite sad.

No, it's AT&T's basic up to 512 that only gets about 60 down in reality.
