I have the CORSAIR MEMORY 650W TX  PSU and it was a solid replacement (very quiet), I also choose the R5770 because I am a cheap arse. If you go for the bigger cards you may want to consider the 750 version for the PSU as suggested in the post above.

Yeah TX650 is extremly solid PSU, HX and AX are bit better but there's absolutly nothing wrong with TX and it's solid choice for it's price.

Basically when it comes to corsairs it's:

price : AX>HX>TX

efficiency AX (up to 92%), HX (up to 90%), TX (up to 85-86%)

noise : most quiet AX (half passive) < HX < TX

HX and AX also have 2 more years of warranty and modular cables.

I did seriously consider the next model up but figured I could not justify the cost. I am basically a tight arse which is why I bought the 5770 at the same time.

I built a comp in Jan... got tempted by an SSD... dunno if it's because my comp is fast or because of the SSD, but windows is lightning fast. I have it partitioned 50 G for Win 15 G for my media drive... that loads and transfers so fast it's not funny.

i'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
