Found this on knowyourmeme:

It looks like a massive trend in mangled English at tea party protests.  Can someone PLEASE show these are all fake?

There are stupid people everywhere, why would any of this surprise you?

Umm, are you serious?

Sure I can see what you're getting at, but I don't think people would go out of their way to attend an opposition rally with a mispelled sign to make stupid people look stupid.

Look man. There are people in the tea party that still believe that Obama isn't a citizen, and there are others that believe that he is a muslim.

Is it that hard to accept that some of these people can't spell for shit?

I have been tested with a 165 IQ, and I have a degree in Computer Science. I have been published a few times as well.

I can't spell for shit. Doesn't make me an idiot.

As for these signs, I would say some of them are real, but some of them are not.

Either way, it's a good example of what our socialized education system has done for us ;)

There is a degree of irony that people demand English be the national language and botch it though.  What lack of spelling right shows me is individuals fail to even do basic preparations in their signs.

So, are you saying the "socialized education system" has driven people to NOT use dictionaries and go out and protest the government?

Rush Limbaugh and other media talking heads and tea party leaders are saying they are being infiltrated.

that's a typical response actually. It's Karlrovian actually.

You know karl roves first election in high school? He won it by putting up signs making derogatory remarks about his own candidate. Then they made the claim that they were being insulted rather than debated.

Similarly, the right is saying the same thing. 'the libs care too much about spelling than the message'. It's typical "elitest" criticisms. They know we have a point. These protesters are uninformed, uneducated, and really just...sloppy. But that follows everything the way they've been acting already. the birthers, the hussein-ists, and the myriad of other movements within the tea-party coalition are as such in spades. And let's face it, the tea party is one of the most unfocused, hypocritical groups around. Only fractions of the group believe what other fractions believe, and oppose each other in various arguments yet they put that behind them in order to get their message out. They get together, allow each other to be completely misguided and lied to all in the name of the end-goal.

Outside of the fact that there was a website designed to specifically organize people to do just that?

And there have been people interviewed who specifically did that?

Also, you know... photoshop.  Some likely are misspelled though.  You can find that kind of stuff EVERYWHERE.

Though, the Obama isn't a natural born citizen thing... actually their is still some weight behind that.  He never really did prove he was a natural citizen.

The only birthcertificate he prodived is one that can also be given to people born overseas in foreign countries.  When given the oppurtunity to provide the full birthcertificate that would shut everybody up... he didn't.  Even though it would be easy to do, and would shut everybody up who thinks he isn't a citizen.

If this were a Republican doing it, I'd gurantee the entire matter would be flipped with democrats thinking he was born in another country, and republicans defending him.

People forget, the Republicans wanted to remove that requirement for being President back when they thought Swartzneggar was going to be the next Reagan.

Had he run, suddenly with the same kind of birth certificate... Democrats would of been pissed.

As the rules are the rules.  (why they need to be that way though.... got me.)

@Kasz. He released his birth certificate. It was checked in person by the staff of Factcheck who confirmed it was really there in Honolulu. It says 'County of Birth: Honolulu' on the certificate.

You cannot get a birth certificate saying those things unless you were born in Hawaii.
