My condolences. I've gone through many heart-breaking family losses as well. I hope you feel better soon. :(

Appearantly he was mentally unstable at the moment or some other crap excuse. The doctor in question retired and is currently teaching medicine at Uni (wouldn't want to be the patient of one of his pupils).
