No offense but that's some really...skewed?...line of thinking. :/ I see where you're coming from but still. Anything/everything is gonna end one day so it's like, why do anything at all. I don't like it...

OT: Both my grandpas died before I was born. One of them died when my mom was still a kid lol. My grandmas are still doing fine though. My condolences.

Well it's a stand-up routine, so......

Sorry for your loss, I lost my grandparents when I was 12.

My dad died a week and a half ago, he was 67. He went for a kidnet replacement and was deathly allergic to the medicine they use to help the body adapt to the new kidney. It shut down his immune system and he never recovered. The doctors kinda effed up, they didnt test/check for allergies, he was 1 percent of the world's population that is allergic to the medicine.

Im deeply sorry for your loss and the appreciate the intent to voice your grief to millions of users on this site, and to all those that had something to say back clearly feel the same. I never got to really know my Granddad (both of them), and they died some years back, so I would never know exactly how you feel since you were clearly close to him.

Again, my sincere condolences...

Well that's rough.  Sorry to hear that.

It's got to be espiecally rough on you given your general state of spirtual belief making the things people usually say largely meaningless... heck they probably are worse then that.

Really can't think of a thing outside of said convention that could make you feel better...  except possibly the theory that all time actually occurs at the same time, our own appearnce of linearity being an illusion construct of our minds to make sense of everything.

My condolances to you and the family i lost my father suddenly i saw him on the friday as i left home to stay the weekend with some friends came home monday night to be told he died that afternoon of a heart attack on the bed ,he had mowed our large lawns and  the two next door neighbours lawns came in side with out washing the mower ( unusual) laid out some clothes for a shower lay down and died, that was about four in the afternoon i had considered coming home on sunday but left it to the monday and thats when the what ifs come in to it,  also 12 months earlier my wife was run down and killed by a drunk driver at 8am waiting for her bus to uni , so i know your grief and whether its a young one or some one older they are all dear.

Sorry to hear about your loss. May your grandfather Rest in Peace.

You have my sympathies. My grandmother passed away the other week. I know the pain of the grief. Just remember they want you to live a happy life.
