Actually, the Zune's doing fairly well. As someone who's owned both (unfortunately my Zune fell into a puddle when I forgot to zip-up my jacket pocket two days ago, ARGH!), I can tell you that the Zune is superior to the Ipod. It has more features, and the screen's bigger, which makes it much more enjoyable to watch video on it than the cramped Ipod one.
I thought the commercial looked cool, but it's just like the PS3 ones. No product, no point.
