How the f*** they cant meet the freaking demand ? i pre ordered the damn game so i hope i have mine 14th september... what the hell the numbers will be MASSIVE!

Reach owns every other game this gen INCLUDING MW2 ! and i thought Mw2 would be hard to beat... i was wrong :D

They'll be able to meet demand for those already reserved but NO MORE. We aren't even allowed to try to give people pre-orders anymore its completely removed from our systems.

Like I said there is still just regular versions but who knows for how long.....

But for Americas right ?

I was under the impression its worldwide.  The Store Informer flat out said the company as a whole is no longer taking pre-orders on any of those listed.

NONE.  Like I said its not even in our systems as an option anymore.

must be WW then but we all know 70% of the sales week 1 will come from Americas... Like 4M or more :D

i predict 3.7M in Americas and 1.5M in EMEAA. Meaning 5.2M Biggest opening ever! Mw2 is at 4.9M i think.

The limited, Legendary, and console bundles I can understand but the standard edition? It's not like it's that hard to print the discs and packaging.

I highly doubt we will run out of regular editions, I think we'll be plenty good on that but we were warned from corportate to let people know to be on the safe side.  They said demand is massive.

Personally I think people will be fine on pre-ordering regular edition, but like I said any console / special edition is 100% sold out and anyone who thinks they're getting this game on launch day by just rolling up to Gamestop without a pre-order doesn't have a chance.

Haha come Tuesday the 14th in the afternoon we are gonna hear the screams of a million angry gamers that they can't buy Halo Reach until its back in stock.

That is pretty crazy but like others have said, I can't see them "running out" of regular copies. And this is just Gamestop right? I mean have Amazon, Wal-Mart and Toys'r'Us stopped taking pre-orders too? I have no doubts that Reach is going to be incredibly massive either way.  I've seen a lot of people saying that it has them interested when they supposedly don't even like Halo. Glad I pre-ordered the Legendary and a couple of consoles. My master plan to sell one on Ebay is shaping up nicely.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

like I said on your wall we were literally turning away pre-orders for the game from our store today and people couldn't believe it.  They thought we were being jerks or something but we literally can't take pre-orders on those three versions.  Everyone knows how much we as a company HATE turning away pre-orders since it boosts our numbers and performance.

To put that into perspective we never sold out of any version of Halo 3 or MW2 in pre-orders.

Halo brand is bigger in Americas than Call of Duty... thats the reason.

At the stores you work at did you have roughly more or less pre-orders for MW2 (360 version) then Halo Reach?

Reach will easily top 3.7 in America week one. I personally have two friends who don't have it preordered and plan on getting it day one or within 2 days. I'm sure for everyone who has the game preordered they have at least one friend who is too lazy to preorder but will be picking it up week one. Since Reach is on track to have 2 million preorders expect 4 mil plus for week one in America.

not sure if they have sold out or not but the company Gamestop is the single largest gaming retailer on the planet.

Also just checked the website guys and if there are any last minute people trying to get on they are allowing people to still pre-order and receive at their house but no longer store pick up.  I'd get on it while you can.
