I wonder if they were pressured by the military or if they did it as a precaution.

It was requested that the game be pulled according to the article:

"The Army and Air Force Exchange Services has confirmed to Kotaku that they requested the game pulled from the 49 GameStop's located on bases in the continent U.S. The ban, an AAFES representative told Kotaku, also extends to all military PXs worldwide."

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

All this talk about the game is starting to get me interested in it

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

One might think that EA would not want bad press like this for Medal of Honor, but I guarantee you, they want as much controversy as possible.

Any media coverage that takes away any attention from COD Black Ops is good for EA.

I may actually pick this game up because of the inclusion of an entire other game for the PS3 for free. If I only owned a 360, I would convince myself this game is crap, (because I would hate that for some reason the PS3 version is special)

because of this, I expect higher sales for Medal of Honor on the PS3.

̶3̶R̶D̶   2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

This whole thing is getting a bit out of hand and silly

Looks as if GameStop didn't want to get involved. I'm not sure how I feel about it.

did you even read the article?  if you had you wouldn't be unsure because the scenario is pretty straightforward -- military bases told them they can't carry the game at their store bases.  how does that reflect them not wanting to get involved -- they didn't have a choice.

Attack of the Show said it was pulled at the behest of military officials out of respect for past and present men and women of uniform; you play as the taliban in some form.
