| Hyruken said: Also to just do a bit of analysing for you guys over those IGN reviews as to claim they are positive reviews is pretty far out. IGN gave Sports Champions 7.5/10. Eye Pet 8/10 Kung Fu Rider 3.5/10 Raquet Sports 4.5/10 and Tumble 3.5/10 Now the Eye Pet has been out for ages but let's keep it in there for the sake of arguments. If you add up the launch titles for Move Ign gave it 27/50. To put that into % terms that is a overall score of 54%. If you remove Eye Pet from it the total would be 19/40 or 47%. That is not positive, that is pretty bad. What is also quite weird about some of these reviews is they praise Move in some areas and the way it works but then contradict themselves in some of the game reviews by saying some of them don't detect your movements i.e Sports Champions. Which is pretty bad reviewing if you write in one article a few paragraphs saying how accurate it is only to say how un-accurate it is in the next one... |
It's IGN, what did you expect? They give a lot of awful review scores and their reviews are not very well written most of the time IMO. You also have to see that casual games normally get much lower review score than core games, so a 7.5 for example is actually pretty good.
But when I saw the what IGN gave for Tumble (3.5) I was pretty shocked, but then I watched the Gametrailers.com review of Tumble and they gave it 8.3. I don't know, some reviews by IGN are just stupid...
