Ouch.

One of my Xbox 360s has two red ring, its two and a half years old and has been abused quite massively. The other one is a spare I got to increase the HDD space and its one and a half years old and sees little use. Both are out of warranty and both are died within 48 hours!

Im a little peeved, but what can I do? I even had a Wii break down on me this generation. Im a very unlucky camper when it comes to hardware.

I blame Binary Solo, he always wanted me to play on the PS3 exclusively.

Well I've had 3 PS3s go dead on me one was covered thankfully.  Sorry for your bad luck though.

Ooh, that is definitely unlucky on your part!  Sorry for the loss!  I've had a Wii for almost two years and the PS3 for a year and a half and both have had no problems, as of yet.  Hopefully you can figure something out to get you back in the gaming saddle, so to speak.

Isn't the E68 error related to a hard drive problem? Have you tried playing without the hard drive connected?

2 red rings would be related to overheating from a quick check online.

I have one of those. Do you think I need to appease my unlimited anger and give in to binary solo's machinations and schemes and go without Xbox?

I think the 2 RROD is dead and burried but from what I read E68 could also mean the cable connecters or the power supply. :-/ Its a crazy crazy world when your console has more error codes than a typical automobile.

Oh it sounded as if you didn't have a PS3.  Well you have one console to hopefully ease the pain until you find a solution to the dead 360's.

OoO info. This is info for me to try. Maybe one of them is salvageable. An Xbox 360, even more Frankensteinish than the typical Xbox 360. This is all new to me and very cool. Perhaps we can rebuild this console, faster, stronger and more reliable than ever before. Of course im talking about Freeza from DBZ and not the 6 million dollar man.
