VC is my second favorite game this gen (behind Demon's Souls).

 

That said, VC2 is living up to everything.  I will reserve final comparative judgement until after I complete the game, but so far it is everything I hoped it would be and more. 

Pick it up if you have not already! You will not be disappointed.

I'm gonna pick up the 1st Valkyria Chronicles at Gamestop for $20 new, never played it.

I just beat the second real boss of the game. You know who i'm talkin about probably. Man that fight took me a long time to beat.

Yes and hell yea it did the same to me.  Man, I am lovin this.  Still amazed how good it looks in comparison to VC on the PS3.  My hats off to them so far, very well done.

Anyone else glad that they decided to keep familiar sounds in the game like the Flag Capture, Mission Complete, Level up, and even some battle music?

I like it. Lol.

 

The rebel theme is bad ass.

God I need to get this.  The first one is my favorite or second favorite game this gen.  DOO WANTTTT! 

Can't believe I rather play this before Birth By Sleep....I love King dom Hearts, but VC2 looks badass.

Also, I know it's been said, but......"Ain't no stoppin' me!"

I'm about 25 hours in now.

- The story is good when you actually see it. You get basically 1 story mission a month and that is not enough IMO.

- Far too many repeat missions in different areas, probably due to PSP limitations.

- Characters are still good. Avans laugh is horrible.

-  Graphics are great

-  Music is great

- Game is getting really hard, and I like it!

 

So far:

The game is a good PSP game, but it isn't as good as the original was. I think it is because almost every mission you did in VC1 had a purpose behind it. In VC2 you have 1 story mission a month, and then you just do repeat missions over and over. That gets OLD and fast.

It is a decent sequel on the PSP. But the true TRUE sequel will be on the PS3. Also Sega. IDC how you do it. But bring Alicia and Welkin back for VC3 on PS3!
