My mind is absolutely blown. The only company charging for online services is being "giving." I feel like I should be angry by your statement but it confuses me so much I don't know what to say.
Time for hype

Why should it anger you in anyway?
MY mind is blown so many PS3 fans take it upon themselves to make it an issue.
eh to me this isn't that big of a deal. Would I prefer to pay less? No doubt but I can live with this, the awesome content that I get through Live is certainly worth it.
Not to mention more money going into the system means more awesome stuff MS can add to Live.
Goes to show that the rich get richer and the poor (that's me lol) get poorer. I won't take inflation as a reasonable excuse for the price hike. I don't get a pay increase cause I'm maxed out where I work so XBL is out of my price range now. However, I still have PSN for my COD multiplayer fix.

Online is a free service buddy, always has been. As a PC gamer its just further proof of how horrible MS is for gaming as a whole. And I'm angry about your statement. Its like saying that someone shoving half his dick up your ass is being generous for not putting the whole thing in.

Inflation is more than a reasonable excuse, what you expected it to stay the same price for another 10 years? how about 15? at which point it woul dbe like them charging $10 a year when they first launched.
Everything goes up in price, it is just the way it is. It is actually only £1 here, which is an increase of 3p a day. Meaning it now cost 19p a day to play. I don't think that is too expensive. Especially when i compare it to things like the tv licence, sky etc.

Clearly not.
MS is horrible for gaming? I don't see it affecting PS3 online gaming, or PC? It must just be horrible for X360 owners, but the majority are fine with this??? You're looking for weak excuses.
Why use that anology btw?
Not that big of a deal, Im covered till 2013 anyway. Bought a bunch of cards at $30 a while back. Still have one i havent used so I should be good until the next Xbox comes along.
I can see how it could be an issue for some, but when you were already paying $50 a year for it, another $10 isnt that much of a difference.
So people who claim its inflation, do they think video game prices should go up $10 more as well?
As well inflation in the past 5 years is not close to 20%, and with a larger user base o live , MS's costs should go down. So live prices should have come down since launch, but since people are willing to pay for it they are willing to up the price.
