No they don't. Halo has much more content for me than any mmo-game could ever have. And guess what, there is no monthly fee on that.

I'm done arguing. If this is that big a deal for you, then you must truly need that money more than any MMO company does.

Of course, I can spend it on better games.

I feel that any game that requires you to buy it in stores and then have to pay again just to play it is a rip-off.

Pay-to-Play games should be free to obtain.

I know people disagree with this statement but I have to agree with you. While I do want to play this game, I just dont understand.

I don't see how it is too much. For one new PS3/360 game your going to pay $64.79 in NYS and most of those games are 6-12 hours long.

and this MMORPG is 13/month and it gives you 720 hours a month.

For that same price you just spent on a 12 hour game you get 4.9 months worth of playtime, more content than that 12 hour game, as well as new content.

That is a total of 3,588.3 hours compared to 12 hours.

I don't see how $13/month is that big a deal.

Or how about you buy a game like halo: odst and get that same 720 hours a month for the price of one months subscriber fee. Heck, online games do offer so much more than single player games!

For the same price you spent on a "12 hour game" you will get one month of mmo-gaming. In this case, 8 hours a week. Then you have to pay for more. Also you just seem to ignore the FREE online component on those "12 hour games".

65$ 13$/month is a big deal.

Xbox Live isn't free. and MMORPGs still have 100000000000000000000000000% more content than ANY online shooter.

and again the 8 hour rumor was a lie spread by Sakura Complex. How many times do I have to say it?

Not trying to be a Sony fanboy but rethink your comment there....ok so its an annual fee and you get to do more then play Halo but still...just sayin

Because servers/maintenance costs money to uphold. Their hard work isn't free. It would be like you getting paid for a job once, but be enternally stuck to make new content and work your ass off day after day for lets say 50 bucks.

Still too expensive imo... if they'd gone under that psychological $10 barrier, they could've seriously expanded their base and maybe even taken a bite out of WOW.  As is, I think they'll only do as well as FFXI overall... missed opportunity imo.

Doing as well as XI = Profit. So I think they would be just fine with that.

XI actually cost less to make/maintain though.  Doing as well as XI = less profit, more investment.

Besides, I was hoping they'd set their sights higher...
