Forums - Sony - Trophies and uninstalling PS3 games

I have an 80GB PS3 and I am getting short of space in my hardrive. I have thought of uninstalling some of the games I no longer play but I would like to know if the trophies from the games I uninstall disappear when I erase the mandatory installation. Anyone can give me some info on that? Thanks.

Trophies are tied to your PSN account. It's impossible to lose them via uninstallation.

Only way to get rid of trophies is to clean your HDD and never sync trophies with that account again.

Nope its impossible

Thanks guys. I know that trophies are sync through the PSN account but what I would like to know is if the list of trophies in the trophies list will disappear for that game. I sync my trophies from time to time because I don't have a proper connection at home for my PS3 so that is why I ask.

In other words, if I uninstall a game without my internet connection, will the trophies list for that game disappear until I sync again? Hope I explained myself well enough. XD

No, you won't lose them. Even if you were to delete/uninstall a download-only game, the trophies will remain - with or without syncing.

Thanks man, that clarifies. :D
