Hmmm, is that poll biased or what??? XD
NEVER
Anyway, some information my brother "forgot" to add. I am married, I have been for three years now, I have two kids, I was in college and working at the same time two years prier to getting married. and I purchased an Xbox one year before going to college, The reson I purchased the Xbox was so I could play Halo, and Halo 2 on it. Now as you can see, I have very little freetime, and have had very little freetime from the time I went to college till now. My brother has let other people play Halo 3 on his account which accounts for many of his games, and has given more time to games other than the Halo franchise than myself. Also, I have played countless thousands of Halo 2 games offline (I only played about 32 on my live account) And have played many Halo 3 games offline as well.
I told them you were married and had kids. And I think I have you trumped seeing as I bought a 360 just so I could play Halo 2 (which I also played thousands of offline games with friends) and on top of that I was an Xbox Live Gold member for a full year before I had internet just so I could go over to friends with internet and play Halo 2/3.
Dude, I bought a 360 just so I could play the Halo reach Beta...A freaking Beta. I had no internet, I bought live just so I could play Halo 3 online, and maintained my Live account and purchased internet while I was laid off, just so I could play Halo3 online.
Also only about 200 games of Halo 3 or less on my main account were played by other people.....and that is easily offset by the 4 other restarter accounts I made just for Halo 3 (totalling about 500 games) and the couple hundred games I played on other peoples accounts.
Once again, my freetime to time spent playing the Halo franchise dwarfs your pathetic ratio. And you have spent more gaming time playing other games. I have almost exclusively played the Halo series. So your games played mean nothing in the real world!
Let us also take into account that singe franchise that has occupied aproximately 85% of my gaming time has been the Halo series. My brother cannot boast this., Also, my ratio of free time to time spent playing the Halo series dwarfs my brother's free time to time spent playing the Halo franchise.
Don't worry this will change once Halo Reach comes out
For a while...then other games will come out, and you will get tired of the reach online, and play those other games. You did it with Halo 3. Also, you would have to play a LOT of Halo Reach to even come close to my ratio.
I purchased the 360 Elite bundle with Forza 3 and Halo ODST just so I could play the Halo Reach Beta.
And so you could have a 360, and a game that your wife might potentially like (Forza 3) and so you could play Halo 3 online.
No, Forza 3 was a bribe to my wife so she would be more apt to let me get the 360. And Halo 3 was a perk. I could have waited and got a used 360 since I already had controllers and a hard drive. But I had to get a 360 BEFORE the Reach beta came out, and I HAD to buy ODST (which I had already played through back when it came out) just so I could play the beta.
I was the first of both of us to light a coordinate in the monument to Noble team.
Yeah yeah yeah you don't have crap internet though....I seriously tried to light it about a dozen tries but silverlight kept crashing on me.
You didn't even try till after I did it!
I have NOT been getting most of my Halo Reach news from my brother since I preordered the game last week, infact, I have seen the vidocs and read the news befoire he even gets a chance to tell me about it.
Yes you have I post tons of stuff on your facebook page that you didn't know about, and I just told you about the GTTV Halo Reach blowout video last night that you had no clue about.
That was because I was gone all freaking day, and your facebook posts were replied to with the words "I know that" BTW, anybody know if that video is up yet? I havn't had a chance to look, and I have to go entertain my cousin who just got back from basic, so I won't be able to watch it till later on tonight...although, I don't know if I can take any more Halo Reach Videos...every time I see one I want to go raid the bungie studios for a copy.
Lastly, I have NEVER purchased a game at full release retail price before, and probably never will again, I have NEVER preordered a game, and probably never will. I am too cheap to buy games new even. Yet, with Halo Reach, I preordered the game. This is unprecidented for a guy who will drive 20 miles to save 3 cents on gas.
Your not as cheap as you make yourself out to be, you just aren't that big of a gamer.
Oh, I am that cheap, and you are right, I'm not a huge gamer, mainly because I don't have time to be. So the fact that I have done all these things so I could play Halo Reach day one, should astound you.
I think given all this information, you will see that I am indeed, much more hyped for Halo Reach, than my brother could ever be. Thank you for your vote! : )
I still remain dominant
In your dreams!
