So you're saying the comparison does matter? Why?

It did give me one piece of info that I've been dying to find out, so it kinda helped me out in that sense. I was just merely stating my opinion against people who use the it-doesn't-matter-because-its-outdated argument. The comparison doesn't really matter NOW because its been years since the consoles launched, but to denounce the comparison now all because PC's has upgraded to more advanced tech is rather silly. Just because theres better tech out there doesn't mean the comparison was unjustified.

Mafia 2 called, and it wants to show you that ease of programming for a platform inversly proportional to the resources/money needed to be spent on a port...hence games can still turn out looking worse in 2010 on a more "powerful" platform.

Indeed...and they also said when they called that they had to outsource PS3 version cause its nothing like the PC360 code wise and is dificult to develop for hence they didn't have the resources to do the port in house.

The irony is that PS3 is touted as the more powerful console...yet we all know that there are more 360 multiplats that are visually superior.

Name me 3 games on PS2 which look better than the more powerful xbox ports? I know of 2(thanks to CGI)...

irony is ps3 exclusive does look better than xbox360 ones. making power comparison pointless, power difference have been known for a while just u can't expect a rushed port to look the same as the main version.

ff13 was first develop for the ps3 in mind, and u seen what happen to the 360 version.
