thats what downloadable games are all about. Look a steam, it cuts out the middleman and is great for consumers, publishers, and devolopers. Its a win win win for everybody. I buy everycomputer game I own through download. If I could buy every 360 game downloaded too I would.

It's not really a win for customers all the time. Some like a physical product, with box and booklet and the possibility to re-sell.

If all you want is to play the games you love at the lowest possible price it is the best bet. At least in the US. Just about everygame I have bought on there I have not been able to find cheaper used. I will concede that you can't resell games, but publishers are taking great strides to reduce or devalue this already. I am not sure if you can gift games you have bought already, but if you can, than maybe there is a way to sell them used. I haven't gifted on steam yet. Blizzzard has the better idea though, they develop and publish their games on their own online store so I am asumng they get almost 100% of the money from an online store. I wouldn't be too suprised to se activision and ea come out with steam like services soon.

I'm just waiting for Nintendo to open a Nintendo Store in the Mall of America.
