as title, i mean hes been there since the very start, he only made promotional stuff and his works are awe inspiring, then comes that guy Tetsuya Nomura and ruins everything artistic about them.

so why don't Square give him a chance to amaze?

i do like Yoshida's style though, its very artistic in its own way , and very fresh. but Nomura.... not so much =/

Those not in the know: Amano did the art for FFs 1-6, and also did some stuff for 9. You can find sketches of his of characters from 7 and 8, and he did all the title art for I think every game in the series.

I've never understood people who prefer Nomura over Amano. Amano's one of the best artists in the business, a skilled designer and an excellent painter.

I'd love for him to be back on board for another Final Fantasy. It would tickle me pink.

I agree. Although Nomura's art is pretty good. Amano's style is more unique and way more artistic, imo.
