If you had a manual you would know that difficulty level is based on class.

It doesn't matter what equipment you found.

argument over.

I'm sorry but I've searched the net and nowhere does it say that.  World/player tendency does according to everything I find, including the wiki.

I know I looked for it too. I have a scanner at home and I can scan it for you if you'd like :P

I know the classes are capable of changing past 1-1, but if you stick with the class royalty really is the most powerful of all of them. Mages and ranged classes in general are the best.

Ranged, especially magic, is way OP.

But either way, congrats. That is an achievement considering all the pitfalls and hidden traps there are. If played carefully, it isn't that hard, just know that when a lot of people talk about how hard it is, they are playing straight melee classes, which is both difficult and tedious.

I'm very careful, I read a lot of messages, can often spot the obviously misleading messages trying to get you killed and I often like to click bloodstains and watch people die.  Is amazing how many people fall of ledges accidently (and not purposely suiciding).

lol, so many just slip off somehow rofl. I'd say a good 50% of the bloodstains I find are people falling off ledges.

Yeah I once found a message that said "Treasure ahead" and it was on a narrow path near the giant machine that shoots arrows in world 3.  Next to the message were two bloodstains that each had the player going along the edge and both falling at the exact same spot almost.  Turned out was actually treasure ahead though.

lol I remember that part and I saw the bloodstain of a guy falling off lol, so i turned back and never got the treasure.

But, I picked it up on my second playthrough, apparently when you have white world tendency, the is a much easier way to get it.
