I game with a radeon 4870 and so far, i haven't had much difficulty with most games @ 1920x1080 maxed out. only games with high physics have given me a problem. examples are crysis (32fps), Supreme Commander 1 (24fps), and Metro 2033 (27fps).
EDIT: I have 1gb version not 512mb.
Looking @ this makes me feel old...PROUD owner of NES, SNES, GENESIS, TurboGrafx 16 (PCE), N64, PSOne, PS2, Dreamcast, Xbox360, and PC.
