WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

Around the Network

Resident Evil 4 was freaking brillinat, it pretty much perfected the series.

but I have to say this looks pretty cool too.

I wish they would just make a game like this anyway.

Everytime this video show up I have the need to say this.

I might be the only person who see this, but...Don't you guys feels that this RE 3.5 is quite similar to Luigi's Mansion?. Think about it:

- Both take place in a mansion

- The heroes use a flashlight

- The whole Ghost in pictures thing

-By that time Nintendo y Capcom were working tohether , the the numbered RE franquise was exclusive to Nintento consoles. I am thinking that maybe Luigi's Mansion was an After thought of Nintendo after seeing what Capcom was doing for RE4.

much of it looks like it's been used in RE4. many of the environment assets were in RE4s castle, the suits of armor made it to RE4 and the hook man is very much a prototype ganado.

Of course. It is clear that the Ghost was use as a model for a Ganados Character, and the suit armors. They change the whole ghost thing for the parasites.

But I am talking when this game was in development back in 2000 - 2001. Nintedo might saw this Capcom's game, and due to the new relationship with them, they decide to make Luigi's Mansion.

Just a thought.

Well RE4 as it is is a load of crap, aside from refining how third person shooter shoot be played everything else was total balls about the game.

However hallucinations, even virus induced ones...are not RE either.

Only because of that, that game is outstanding. Not every game can call itself a "genre definer".

Some people might hate change, but the true is that RE was dying with the old gameplay style from the ps1 era, and they need to change things, and so they did.

I'd prefer a well balance game.

It is :P

You might not see it, because you like old school RE, o maybe the story doesn't fix your standard or whatever excuse you want to write down, but the game is very good, and critics, as well the game community (developers, and gamers) agree.

Story being shit is an entirely different matter to game balance.

Leon carries too many weapons, too powerful weapons, too much ammo, too much health...with the latter two dropping in amounts more than is needed.   He carries them all at the same time too.

...and most of the time he is fighting barely any enemies.  Its like using a nuke to kill a goat.

Dude, you are way too good of a player. That's the problem you have.

I know people who really got some serious issues trying to pass the Village part. Even I got my ass handled a few times before passing the village scene the first time. I am remenber dying a lot the first time I played IT, even more than in RE3, REmake or RE0.

But different people have different experience with the game, so I can not argue you that with you.

But change can be good as long it is RE.

It could have worked as another game. I like RE4 the way it is.
