99% of the time once its hacked, its hacked for good.  It might take a little while to update their hack from a patch but generally not to long.  There are millions upon millions of dollars for these people to keep the hack going.  And trust me, they will keep it going for that money.  

I bet this effects Sony's attach rate like it has for the 360.  Once the other hackers get this dongle they will reverse engineer it for theirselves, then they will be able to drive down the price.  And I will take a bet that within a year the price will be $50 or less.  

Long ago I knew several people who hacked DirecTV and they had to use dongles and stuff like that.  When the hack first happend they paid a shit load for it.  But within 3 or 4 months it was half the price, then 3 or 4 months from that it was half the price or less.  Because the other hackers were making them and that creates an incentive to drop the price.

it would cost as much as its listed for

they must have just priced it high casue they could get banned very soon

 

forget an year,this hack will be cheap before the end of this year itself

Just depends on how long it takes to reverse engineer.  If its just as simple as copying some files then ya, I imagine it would be down quicker.  But generally these guys will try and milk you for as long as possible.  But there is always someone willing to sell it for cheaper on the internet.  So who knows, time will tell.

You still need the dongle.

And it only works on 3.41 so an easy fix for Sony.

my systems fine just because its not as 'cool' or good as yours doesnt make it defectuos.. ive had it for almost 3 years so your deffinently wrong.

im selling all my ps3 games now, its now or never. nobody is going to buy them in a couple of weeks.
