They already removed enough stuff, why do you want them to do more?

enough stuff?

is one thing 'enough'

Other OS, BC, Memory Card Readers, and USB ports?

only other OS was removed

BC,MC readers,USB ports are still there for the people that bought those version of PS3

so that doesn't actually qualify as removed

microsoft did it with third party memories.

how does that even compare with this??????

The whole talk about removing USB features is utter nonsense.

Sony doesn't need to disable USB just to block that hack, a simple firmware update is enough.

The decision to removing OtherOS was completely different, because they pretty much had no chance to block only that security hole without completely removing OtherOS.

Well after seeing how M$ has completely failed to removed the ability to "mod" the 360 and they now have a lite touch firmaware that they are completely unable to detect on Xbox Live for the time being, I believe it would be pointless to disble the feature because the modders will find another way.

spot on

hackers are already working on a BD hack and they will find other ways if SONY does disable third party USB's.

Sony would never do that, it would disable so many feature sof the PS3 it would be unreal.

Music, photos, videos, save back ups etc etc would all be voided features without USB support.

my psp go says hi

what i am geting at is that you don't have to buy a PSP go if you don't want to so comparing PSP GO to SONY possibly removing usb ports is foolish

I was pointing out to kylie dog that those feauters would not be voided. My very first sentence says that the psp and ds3 will still be able to connect to the ps3 through usb. Pictures, backups, etc will still be possible if you have a psp hence "my psp go says hi"...does anyone fully read the op?
