Even more vicious : Next Sony's firmware could make the console refuse to start if there's a usb peripheral plugged in...
Bye Bye PSJailbreak....
You could only plug a peripheral when the console has booted

Or the PS3 could just ignore the USB ports until the boot up is completed. But yeah thats a good idea

MGS4 wasn't 32gb,stop bullshiting it was near 50gb and LBP was near 45gbs
and there aren't many downloading 50gb blu-ray rips, they download MKV vlu-ray rips which are 2-5gbs

Hahahaha, you seriously don't know what you're talking about.
There may not be a lot of people downloading full 50gb blurays on piratebay and the like, but if you had access to private trackers you'd see how popular full rips are. Not to even mention usenet...

Now will Sony allow people to use Linux again?
And have they learned that forbidding Linux made it more delicious for hackers to crack the PS3?

FOR WHAT TO ALLOW A FULL BLOWN HACK
if they hadn't banned linux then there would be even bigger problem
and hackers actually didn't do anything, this is using SDK tools which hackers didn't make they just took advantage of the leak
I wouldn't think it's too tricky for sony - they could get nasty and sell an unlock key with every game that's tied to the PSN account. - something like with premium content unlock keys or full-game demo unlock keys
Would kill rentals and 2nd hand market though
