How does it work exactly?

It's a big map of Albion and presumably Aurora that you have access to in your sanctuary with your butler that allows you to zoom in and see what's going in at any location on the game. I also think you can buy property using the map as well. They showed this off a few months ago though, so it doesn't have anything to do with Kinect.

EDIT: Oh and the map can also be used for fast travel too I believe.

Basically you can go to every building and it will show you information, such as how many stars its rated, 5 for wealthy and 1 for poor.

Houses you have rented will show you the income you recieve from it, and it will show you who is living there and how long.

Wow thats awesome!  My hype level is rising rapidly for this game.
