Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Responds to Mass Effect 2 Jumping Ship says ME1 still exclusive!

How is it an Xbox 360 exclusive when it's also on the PC (and arguably in a better version)?

Because the PC is not an exclusive...and may I remind you, the only operating systen it is meant to bve played on is a MS one, so it is a Console Exclusive, and a MS Exclusive.

Anyway, ME2 will sell millions of Xbox360 to PS3 owners!!!!! ; )

Well for the first time since purchasing my XBOX 360 I feel that Microsoft dropped the ball, I mean EA publishes for Epic games but they still have an exclusive deal with MS. Why couldn't Microsoft do the same with Mass Effect as it is one of the Franchises that made the 360 great!

it didn't do that big and didn't impact much

also EPIC isn't anywhere near EA

Microsoft really dissapointed me yet again, Mass Effect2 was one of the reasons for my love of 360 and now this happens. What pisses me off is not that is Multi but because of all the time and effort I put into the game and the money wasted by getting the dlc because now I could have just waited for the ps3 version which will most likely include everything..........GREAT JOB MS :-|

O-AND WAY TO ANNOUNCE NEW GAMES :-| !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You do know this has nothing to do with Microsoft, don't you? EA bought up Bioware prior to the PC version of the first Mass Effect being released and subsequently they published Mass Effect 2. The only thing that Microsoft has control over seems to be whether or not Mass Effect 1 gets ported. As for the 'time and money' you've 'wasted', would you really have waited a year to play ME2 if you'd known there was going to be a PS3 version?

lets hope microsoft makes Mass Effect 3 exclusive, that would be hilarious.

that would be funny but if they published or co published (which sounds more likely)ME1 how did they let the license get away from them?

and i don't think they would be able to publish ME3 exclusive for 360 if EA owns the IP and they have no hand in supporting the title. just a thought but still funny.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

I think PS3 owners should write to EA en masse so they release ME1&2 together on one Blu Ray disc. ME2 just won't be the same without experiancing ME1. No importing character and decisions over to ME2 and all that, no awesome reaper story etc etc. It's not fair.
