Forums - Microsoft - I wonder if this is how Nintendo fans felt between 2007-2009

Um, if I remember correctly most people who complained weren't exactly Nintendo fans. There were (and still are) a couple of N fans who constantly whined about the lack of Assassin's Creed Wii and stuff like that, but those hardly represents the Wii fanbase.

Myself I couldn't be happier about my Wii.

Well I can't necessarily speak of your experience with the Wii, but back when I first had the Wii, that was my only console. And My feelings for that system went from Happiness and joy, to hope, to sadness, to just really feeling abandoned by Nintendo. A lot of people felt that way for a reason, and it wasn't something made up. I was always a  Hardcore Nintendo Fan.

But when I finally got a Xbox 360 and saw everything I was missing out on. Since then I have been completely satisfied and look back to went I only on a Wii and chuckle. I followed Nintendo of a bridge and didn't even realize it at the time. I always wish them the best though.

If it bothered me that much, I'd be playing other systems. But as things stand, yes, there are a bunch of crap games on the Wii, but it also has the most games that interest me in their difference for all the home consoles this gen. If I don't care for a game, I just pass on it. No skin off my shirt...

Hmm I don't think so. My favourite thing this generation has been games off Xbox Live Arcade. They are still coming out, I like them even more than most big box releases because they are replayable and cheap diversions. I find they are great to pick up and play when I have 15-45 minutes to spare and want to do something.
