Didn't Sony let retailers price the discontinued SKUs what they want?

I don't think Sony have got an option in Europe.  I'm pretty sure price fixing is illegal in the EU and retailers are free to sell at whatever price they wish.

Well according to stores here the current models are all isted as limited stock. So im guessing theres not many on shelves, but vgc says otherwise so I dnt know you tell me. lol

It goes also the opposite way, actually: In my town in fact, for example, MediaWorld, knowing that competitors UniEuro and Euronics here have less favourably positioned stores and Euronics also more limited stocks and shelf space, applied the price drop to Wii with WSR and WM Plus bundle one week later.
