The 320 GB SC bundle in America is $399.

The 160GB PS3s are $299 & €299 in both regions....

something is wrong here...

what is wrong????????????

it has been the same with 120gb and 320gb.

320GB PS3 Move bundle $399 & €349...I don't think the European version has Sports Champions (not sure)

At what point does a larger HDD stop mattering?  I mean, I have an 80gb HDD and it's got about 22gb left.  Since the PS3 supports normal HDD's, I use a 500gb external HDD for movies, music, and such (and I share that with my other consoles and PC).  320 sounds good but, what justifies the upgrade?

There are more "full" PS3 games coming to PSN like inFAMOUS 1 and LBP 1 that have so far.

More PSN games ?

Either way, correct me if I'm wrong, the 320GB PS3 bundle only has a PS Eye, a move controller and a demo disk, right ? No Sports Champions....

the is sports champions in the bundle

if not it is one of the demos on the demo disk

I hoping for a white ps3 bundle I would buy it in a heartbeat if it came out

SPORTS CHAMPIONS IS BUNDLED

Interesting pricing, makes the 160gb a big margin item as I'm sure the other model is not losing money.

However, I think once the older skus are gone, we'll see a price drop. I'm betting the Move bundle may remiain $350 but the 160gb would drop $30-$50 or so.

we won't see a price drop as PS3 is doing quite well

i reckon SONY won't drop price unless 360's current sales continure after september

A drop on the entry level could make sense though, besides improving sales, because bundling Move with the high end model for just $350 makes the price difference awkwardly low, the high end bundle offers so much more for so little more that it makes both the entry level PS3 and the Move Starter Kit look priced too high.

sure it would make sense, heck a price cut always makes sense and improves sales

they can bundle move even for $299 without loss or very little one but they won't as their sales are going strong.they can also remove the DS3 and bundle MOVE for $250 with a little loss as MOVE doesn't cost that much

they can also price MOVE standalone budle low

but everything poses only one questions do they need to?

i say not that much.

they still might if 360 sales continue and PS3 sales are affected by it

it has it,watch the conference

MOVE doesn't cost much

they are making more profit and more sales in EU so they are trying to push it more there

Meanwhile, what are they doing with the 250Gig sku that they need to clear off shelves? They can hardly squeeze is in between a 160Gig at 299 and a 320Gig Move bundle at 349.

20Gig is easy, cut it down to 249. But they can't put the 250Gig at less than 299 because then the 160 would sit around, and once the 250's are gone people will be a bit miffed at having to pay the same for less.

Personally I think they should have put 1 more USB port into the 160 and 320 skus (all the better to accomodate the PSEye for Move), and that way they could have cleared out the 250Gigs at 299 and introduced the 160 at the same price.

they don't need to cut it that much.

they would have shipped accordingly so the older SKU's should start finishing before september ends

the 320gb isn't releasing just now so there is time

I suggested ONLY a drop in the 160GB entry level in fact: $350 for the 320GB plus Move bundle is even better than my best hypotheses, I imagined a 160GB plus Move for $330, but for this very reason, 320GB bundle priced very low, 160GB for $299 looks too high and makes the Move Starter Kit look too expensive too at $99. If they drop even only $30 from 160GB price, they DON'T need to drop anything else: 320GB bundle keeps on looking very good value and Move Starter Kit too, so their price won't need to be touched, just and only the entry level PS3. Another thing that should be priced lower is not the starter kit, but standalone additional controllers, they should at least offer a Move plus Nunchukalike kit for $49, to make a complete 2 players solution (Starter Kit plus additional Move and Nunchukalike) competitive with Kinect.

yes but do they need it for 160gb one?

AND 320GB IS $399

ABT being competitive to Kinect, they already are with higher level games and and lower started edition.a normal consumer doesn't really think of multiplayer when first buying it.

if they are reaching their 15m projection and kinect and 360 sales are not high and affecting them then they just don't need to cut price and atm they look to be in a very good position

$399? Why everybody wrote it's $349? If it's $399, then the prices are correctly spaced and only a good offer for additional couples of Move and Nunchukalike is needed.

The 320GB INCLUDES Sports Champions in both territories. In the EU it will cost €349 and in the USA it will cost $399.

No ifs, ands or buts. No typos up there. This is how it will be.

Agree, they need more USB ports
