Someone could have a PS3 upstairs and a PS3 downstairs. We have no idea how many consoles have failed... Or how many people have had to rebuy instead of getting repairs.
I would actually say the 360 has a greater install base. Simply because the Attach Ratio for it is great. |
but alot of people use the ps3 mainly for a blu ray player and only get a few games, and yes we do have no idea lol, all we do know is that alot more 360s failed we don't know how many were repaired (or replaced and not counted as sale) as for the having a ps3 upstairs and downstairs I find it more common for people to own multiple 360s because of the warranty (they buy a new 360 then realize they can send in their old one and keep both) and because it's cheaper, I'm positive that the gap of the install base is less then the gab of the sales though by 3.6 mil is a bit to clear through dif in broken consoles alone
