It already sold almost twice as Quantic's previous similar game Fahrenheit despite being on only one platform and with a much smaller potential user base (Fahrenheit was on PC, PS2 and XBox).

Fahrenheit was a great game with an horrible end. This hindered it's sales.

I'm not a fan of the genre, but both Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain caught my attention when I read previews, reviews, users opinions about them. I'm happy about the increasing success of the efforts in the genre and curious about whether its evolution, that Heavy Rain's success should help, will finally persuade me to buy some of these games...

It's not full price in NZ either, it's $64 (can't be arsed looking at what that is in jonny foreigner money, but it's platinum price). It released at $99.
This games really deserves it.congrats to quantic dreams i hope that heavy rain would mange to sell 2 million easily by end of this year.
