Best World Cup:

Mexico 1986, Maradona in his best shape ever

Maradona is a cheat and was high on drugs.  His team was owned by a crime family though so he would never get reported for it by the press.

A disgrace to football.

The drug Maradona used (cocaine) did not enhanced his performance in Mexico 1986, I can can give you a lot of cocaine and meth and I'm sure your performance will go DOWN not up.  He used ephedrine to lost weight in 1994.

All major athletes use drugs one way or another thats a fact hard to swallow but true, Maradona was exposed because Argentina eliminated Italy FROM HIS OWN WORLD CUP just like Italian team Perugia FIRED Korean Player Jung-hwan from Italian soccer club for scoring the winning goal against Italy in WC 2002.

The chairman of the club, Luciano Gaucci, said "I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian soccer"

Thats a disgrace to football.

This year's World Cup was by far the worst I've seen: few goals, vuvuzelas, uninspired teams, big teams knocked out early, etc...

fuck vuvuzelas

Worst WC was 2002, no doubt, totally inconvenient schedule made it impossible to watch most games, hence there was little "atmosphere", that's why I hope the next WCs aren't in Australia (it's one of the candidates) because the timezone will make it again impossible to watch. I barely could watch any matches, compared to the 90% I usually do in all WCs

Best WC...I guess it'd be France 98, that was great in terms of football played, this last one was pretty good in that in the knockout stages, though the group stages sucked. Still, I'm very happy with what I saw this WC

Of course, I'm only speaking of what I've watched live (94 and onwards)

yes i forgot 2002 also but in my opinion it is second worse after 2010

New Zealand was the only undefeated team at the 2010 world cup =P

In my opinion the worse soccer world cup is the last worldcup 2010.Almost all big guns were out from the 1st and 2nd round

like Italy, france, greece, brazil,England  only spain & germany managed to reach semis.

And which is the most exciting worldcup u think in history & reasons y ( my opinion 1994 & 2006) beacuse the final match was so excited between brazil & italy i was supporting brazil but the way italy loose was disappointing and then i become a fan of italian team

Just because the teams you mentioned were knocked out early doesn't make a bad WC. Holland got through to the finals which you failed to mention and Greece isn't one of the big boys. Italy, France and England deserved to be knocked out early for the piss poor football they played. In England we really enjoyed the 1990 WC because we got through to the Semis. The best I can remember properly was the 2002 WC. Brazil with Ronaldo played some stunning football and some of the goals Ronlado scored were unique to say the least.

sorry wat else team then u expect to compete in whole tournament if they were out early.you also agreed that they deserve to be out becasue of poor football they played.this is what i m talking about that in this worldcup they disappointed us there was not much excitement in last world cup as in previous worldcups.

Greece won euro 2004 title which is second biggest title after worldcup then how could you say that greece is not a big gun.

have you seen Greece play the last 6 years and the 50 the 50 years before that. they are not a big team , they had luck that month.

yes there performance was so good they drwan their match with world champions and i would say they played better than australia as well

1966 was the worst, as England won it.  You probably have to be Welsh or Scottish to appreciate how truly awful that was.

I loved Mexico 86 and Italia 90, and out of all the world cups i've seen, they're the only two I really remember anything from(other than Diana Ross' penalty miss at USA 94).
