At the end of the ngs2 he ryu says "I still have much to do". So will there be ngs3? Was ngs2 profitable enough for Team Ninja to make another game?

In order for there to be a Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3, first there would have to be a Ninja Gaiden 3.

no probably just Ninja Gaiden 3 without sigma, on both consoles.

If by I hope not you mean that you hope they make NG3 the definitive version of the game and don't have to re-release it with updates a year later. I agree.

I say agian... Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden are Tecmo's flagship titles, more so in the most west( what there mostly known by ) there will definitely be another one... and more after that.

This.  There is a Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive announced for the 3DS.

I predict the next 'console' version of Ninja Gaiden will come after the new consoles come out.  It'll be just like this gen were everyone is jumping on the DS but waiting to see how the next consoles turn out.

I absolutely loved Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360. I definitely want a sequel.
