I think we can all agree that the PC version will most likely be the best most everytime because console specs are pretty much set in stone while PC's are constantly being upgraded.  And in regards to console (360/PS3) comparisions, I've seen several where the PS3 version looks a little washed out.  Can't that be remedied by the tweaking the picture options of the tv?

No, it's due to the type of AA used (Quincunx) which uses points of the frontier with neighbour pixels to obtain the pixel's color value.

So you're saying that tweaking the contrast, the brightness, gamma, etc. on a television has no effect whatsoever?  In other words, playing with the picture settings will not improve picture quality?

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

It helps, but you can't do miracles tweaking your tv settings. If the developer uses Quincunx AA, you'll going to have blurry images. It has it's advantages over 2xAA, as an indirect texture filtering and transparent texture antialiasing effect that normal multisampling AA doesn't have, but I don't think it must be used due to the overall blurriness it produces.

360/PS3 aren't "vastly" different

PC way ahead but still glass reflection is anothing

Aren't we already used to lazy developers?...

Let's wait for the launch version to judge the differences. Even if the PS3 version is heavily inferior I wouldn't care because I'm not interested in the game anyway.

Why when PS3 has the better version is due to a powerful console, and when X360 has the better version is due to lazy developers?

Well, in theory the PS3 is more powerful, look at exclusives right now, but multiplatform developers don't have the time to really show what they could do with the PS3. In my opinion developers should try to make games equal on both consoles, that's it. There are developers who showed more than once this gen that it is possible to make identical versions. Edit: To answer your question... no, it isn't due to a more powerful console.

And just out of curiousity, did you want to say with your comment that it's normal that the PS3 version is inferior?

Due to architectural decisions made by Sony, yes. It's normal that the PS3 version is inferior with similar budgets and development time, more so when you develop PC-PS3-X360 multiplatforms.

I don't by games that are so blatently differant between the two consoles. Hoefully what boutros says is true and they improve for the PS3. Might buy it used Rockstar if your reading this! HAHAHAHA!

Correction: Rockstar still rules, its 2K's Czech team that is at fault.
