I saw Slayer and Megadeth last night in Glens Falls NY. Slayer was amazing and Megadeth was good(Mustane's voice was off at time). Check out the AMerican Carnage Tour, it may be coming your way soon.

I also saw Kreator play a few months back, they are really, really good live. They are not coming back to the states for a long time but check them out if you are out in Europe.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Any Masterplan fans?

"Life is but a gentle death. Fate is but a sickness that results in extinction and in the midst of all the uncertainty, lies resolve."

My Fav is Zeppelin, they do everything including metal

such as folk, acid, crunchy heavy blues like a slow moving dinosaur

I always thought pink floyd was ok but I would rather not waste my dope listening to floyd when Sabbath sounded so much better high

Guitar Hero 3/ Smash Hits

I've liked a lot of what has been posted, specially what user BenVTrigger contributed.

I'll add my contribution now, might not be that hard or heavy metal, but I love it anyway.

@KillerMan: Amarath?!?! ... brrrrr   ... :P

It is time for a thread dedicated to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. These are some of the biggest genres in music with dozens of subgenres, dating back to the days of Rainbow, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. This thread is to bring people together who love Hard Rock and Heavy Metal and discuss some of our favorite bands and subgenres and to hopefully find some new bands that some of us may not be familiar with.

I will start with posting some videos of some of the most famous songs in these genres.

I have to start with Ronnie James Dio, who recently passed away. He is most famous for starting the devil horns that is seen at every metal concert, but his music is classic.

Metallica's Enter Sandman, a song that everyone knows even people who don't know anything about Heavy Metal.

They don't make it like that anymore. Know days it's nothing, but pop metal. boooooo!!!!!

While my favorite bands are not in this genre I really aprecciate some subgenres of it.

Dream Theatre is great, and Iron Maiden are legends.

And as we are in a videogame website, the black mages have their great music too.
