Not going to lie...Saw it and I didn't think it was very good. Stalone cant direct for shit. Stop shaking that camera for christs sake.

Dolph Lundgren and Jet Li stuff was fun to watch but thats about it. Nothing else had any 80s chemistry, or was any good on todays terms...

Story was non existant but thats fine if its fun to watch, but movie just wasn't fun to watch. It needed a funny bad guy who gets pissed a lot when things dont go as planned...

I have seen better Van Damme straight to video movies than this... Universal Soldier:Regeneration and Wake of Death come to mind.

I liked it and I'm going to get the DVD. I thought Stalone and Jason statham were the best part's of the movie. Stalone is'nt the only one that direct's like that. Ridley and Tony scot come to mine. I happen to like that style. Dolph Lundgren and Jet Li were the weakest character's in the movie. Jet Li was way under used in my opinion. lol

Fair enough.

However Ridley and Tony scott shake the camera cause it ads to the chaos of the plane chase and or car chase. Stallone is doing it to hide the fact he can barely move...

Besides, camera shaking is not very 80s at all. In the 80's you could see every punch these action stars were doing. Thats why they are badass... Camera shaking in fights really started post Matt Damon in Bourne identity movies...to hide the fact he really couldn't punch a pillow.

Around the Network

This movie is more generic than shooter... yes pun intended.

Finally saw it last night!  I agree that the camera shook too much - Stallone wanted to copy all the action movies of today rather than sticking to the 80s style.

Having said that I really liked the movie - not sure if I loved it.

Action scenes are terrific, acting scenes are just ok.  of course except Micky Rourke - should be nominated for best supporting actor.  Bruce, Stallone, Arnold scene was pretty funny.  Gave me the chills.

Gotta admit, Jet Li breaking someone's neck - backwards - was cool, but he lost couple of fights.  Last time I saw him lose was in Lethal Weapon 4.

And Dolph Lundren was good and he lives!!!!!!  Do I hear Expendables 2?
