over $13m on Friday - weekend maybe $30 -35 m.  That's better than 'The Losers' and 'The A-Team'  I was hoping for $40 but it's a good start - hopefully it'll have legs.

I didn't see it yet - my son has a slipped disc - damn.

Scott Pilgrim bombed at $4.5m

Scott Pilgrim is in line with what was predicted. It's not a bomb.

Scott Pilgrim cost $60 million to make. Very safe to say that its going to be a bomb.

Watching it tommorow. All the reviews have said its a fantastic action movie. Can't wait!

Oh, and as to why Segal wasn't in this...He was making this awesome movie:

Mexploitation FTW!!

Wow!  Is that movie for real?  How did they get those A list stars to be in that movie?

Robert Rodriguez is a powergul man. Not to metion that those stars prolly had a great time, shot this in a week or two and got a nice paycheck to boot.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Jeez. The new post feature doesn't work very well.

If you want to see how great Robert Rodriguez is...Look up Once Upon a Time in Mexico:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285823/

Had Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke, Willam Dafoe, Eva Mendez, Selma Hayek and Danny Trejo in it. Rodriguez not only directed, but edited and did the soundtrack himself. Shot it all on one camera too. Total cost for the movie was $29 million USD. Way, WAY under-budget for movies of a similar size.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I just saw it. If you like mindless action movies, then this is the movie for you. If you like movies with a good, deep story, than stay away from this movie. You'll have some, yea right moments in the movie. Stallone gives everybody there moment to shine in the movie. Aronold and bruce willis only have a cameo apperance in the movie, about 2 minutes of screen time. The weakest link was dolph lundren. That guy was never really that great of an actor and you can't understand what he's saying half the time. Jason statham get's the most screen time and he's my favorite part in the movie. Randy Coutre is under used, but he does have some great moments. Jet li also has some good moments, but I wish he was a bigger part of the movie. Steve Austin's role was just okay to me. I've never really been a fan of his. Eric Robert's play's a great villian, like always. Mickey rourke was also surprisingly good,in his supporting role. If you go in expecting to be blown away, then you'll be disappointed. If you watch the movie, expecting a fun popcorn flick, then you'll be happy. I personally liked the movie, but I'm a fan of action movies.

$35m for the weekend - pretty good.  Close to what I had hoped for.  Hope it has legs.

Mindless action flicks - like the ones from the 80s - great fun movies.
