If we are using the vgchartz name I'm pretty sure we could get a thread stickied. Things like this could even attract new members.

I'm with you on that. Coincidently Reach releases at the same day as the start of the new academic year for me. Which on one hand sucks, on the other hand though I'm really looking forward to both. Still Bungie always knows how to plan things like this, same thing with the Reach beta which was at exact the same time and length as my exams were.

Maybe we could start a Reach clan as well. That reminds me, the only thing that I didn't like about the beta was putting people from the same party against eachother. I hope that isn't the case with the final release.

Alright guys we are for sure 100% doing a Halo Reach montage.  It'll be amazing for the site and it will be the official one.  I'm a member over at bungie.net as well so once we make our montage I'll start a thread over there and hopefully we can attract some more 360 gamers over to the site.   This is going to be freaking EPIC!!!!!!!

We'll deff have to recruit more members once the game launches and make an awesome video.  If its good enough Bungie themselves might even post it on their news section.  They did it for NeoGafs Halo 3 montage.

I played Halo on the PC and wasn't impressed either. Why is it so popular? Is it because it's name is easy to spell, or the game is easier to play? (ah-ha!)

I play basically all shooters and in fact it's one of the hardest, try to get your 50 legit in Halo 3. It's actaully a game which needs a lot strategy and quick thinking unlike the COD games and Unreal, although the last is all ready a little harder. Warhawk is also very strategic but is way slower.

Go and play Killzone 2 then. You might even find somebody to play online!

How does anything you added here help this post?  It is not on topic and is just another simple attempt to bad mouth a pretty good idea.  I would be willing to help out with some sort of montage if needed.  When I have the time I can also edit stuff, I will just have to re-install a few programs on my computer.

Great Idea I might add.  And it would simply be amazing if we could get a few more people here that likes the 360.  For every one of us there seems to be 3,4 or more anti 360 people here.  So if we could narrow that margin a little that would be a very nice change.

yeah his comment had nothing to do with the thread and contributed in no way at all.  People see the selling power of Halo and those that feel personally invested in other franchises or systems like to trash it because of that.

Anyways awesome to hear that you would be down to add some clips in to the montage!  Once Reach releases I'll start a thread getting every one together and we'll wait for about 3 months after launch.  That will get everyone time to rack up some really awesome clips and I'm confident that if we post it on Bungie.net we might get a few of those 360 guys over here which would be fantastic for the site!
