The backlash from the horrible car and track list, along with the lack of damage and everything else that is being said negatively about the game is really going to hurt GT5's chance at selling as good as previous iterations IMO. |

Thats a silly prediction to be honest.
5.5 million in US? the only GT that did that was the one that got bundled, thats why the highest besides GT3 was 4 million in US. Its not gonna sell more than Modern Warfare 2 in US.
Final Fantasy has always been more popular than GT in Japan and FF13 did 1.9 million so obviously GT5 isnt gonna do 2.2 million.
Amd 8 million in EMEAA over double what MW2 did and more than even GT4, well thats just not gonna happen obviously.

Im not understanding this, you laugh off my 6.9 million prediction whilst making a prediction of 15.7 million, which is currently more than what GTA4 has sold PS3 and Xbox 360. And evryone knows GTA is a bigger and more franchise than GT and had 10x the hype behind it.
And Basically ignoring the fact that the only reason GT3 sold is because of bundles, which theres no mention of GT5 being bundled, without them the game probably wouldnt have sold 12 million. GT4 is what people should be comparing the game to.
You offer no points as to why itll sell those kind of numbers either. Its not gonna sell 15 million, it has less than 1% chance at doing so.
And its not gonna sell over 6.9 million copies in 7 weeks when
A) The PS3 version of GTA4 hasnt sold that many copies in 2 and a half years.
B) It took the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 14 weeks to sell 6.9 million.
